I am a musician, educator, composer, and sound engineer who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been in the Bay Area music scene for many years and enjoy sharing my passion for music with others.

Performer

I perform all over the Bay Area as a piano and keyboard player. I play as a solo pianist and perform regularly with local jazz, rock, and funk bands. I also compose and arrange music for bands and horn sections.

DJ services

I provide DJ services, prerecorded music, and announcements at public and private events all over the Bay Area. I strive to play music that is appropriate for the event and fosters a positive, entertaining environment.

Educator

I teach private piano lessons at West Valley Music in downtown Mountain View. My students play a wide variety of musical styles, including jazz, pop, classical, blues, bossa nova, and salsa. I teach a holistic approach to music that combines sight reading, sight singing, rhythm, performance technique, music theory, and improvisation.

Schools

I substitute teach band, choir, and orchestra at the middle school and high school level in Mountain View and Los Altos. I encourage students to dig deeper, understand the nuance of the music, and develop their performance technique.

Sound engineer

I provide live sound reinforcement at music venues, street festivals, and public concerts. I perform on-site multitrack recording of live music and recitals. I also have experience with shooting and editing multi-camera live music videos with high quality sound.

Composer and arranger

I compose and arrange music for bands and commercial applications. I have written music for piano, horns, and strings for Khan Academy Kids, Bigelow’s Treehouse, and David Brookings, as well as my own personal projects.

Concert series

From May through September, I book, promote, and run sound for monthly outdoor concerts for the Cuesta Park Neighborhood Join us in Bubb Park this summer!
